HELLO

Hello and welcome to my site! My name is Lucie and I'm a mixed media artist based in Newcastle upon Tyne.

My journey with art started at the kitchen table when I was 2 years old with my mother teaching me the ways. Since then painting and drawing has become a part of my daily routine and I take it with me wherever I go. Travelling and experiencing the wonders of nature plays an important role in fuelling my inspiration. 

In 2008 I studied art and design at college and then went on further to complete a degree in surface design. My love for colour, pattern and texture began then and I continue to explore ways of using all three together in my work with a mixed media approach.  Please feel free to drop me a message whether you want a custom piece of art made or just to say hello - I would love to hear from you :)
